"SEEDS Board elects Rev. Dr. Tom Hudspeth to be President and Executive Director, April 5, 2025. At the request of Bishop Ruben Saenz, Jr., resident bishop of the Horizon Texas Conference, Rev. Dr. Tom Hudspeth was nominated and elected by the board members of SEEDS, an impact ministry of Lovers Lane United Methodist Church based at Walnut Hill Church in Dallas, Texas. Tom will take on not only the educational focus of SEEDS, but will also expand SEEDS to include the formation of a Deaf mission church based at Walnut Hill Church to serve the 50,000 or so Deaf and Hard of hearing people in the DFW Metroplex, beginning on July 1, 2025. Donations to SEEDS will support a full time position for the Executive Director and program costs. Our projected budget for the July 2025-June 2026 year is $150,000. If you are led to give to SEEDS, or to contribute in kind services, please contact Rev. Tom Hudspeth."

My name is Collins Prempeh, and I am honored to serve as the first Regional Missionary for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Ministries in Zimbabwe and beyond. I am originally from Ghana and earned a Bachelor of Divinity from Africa University.
None of this would have been possible without the tremendous support of the SEEDS scholarship program. SEEDS made it possible for me to complete my studies at Africa University, equipping me with the knowledge and qualifications needed to take on this pioneering role in Deaf ministry. Today, I am blessed to advocate for inclusive ministry and empower Deaf communities across Africa and around the world.
Thank you, SEEDS, for investing in my education and ministry journey.

Hello, my name is Louis Logan II, and I’m proud to be born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I have been blessed with the opportunity to attend the top HBCU in America, Prairie View A&M University, where I am a Marketing major. My goal is to start my own business and master the art of branding and marketing. Beyond academics, I am the co-founder of LightCrew, a Bible study group on campus that we started during my freshman year. What began as a small gathering has now grown to an average of 80–100 attendees per session, creating a strong community of faith and fellowship.
None of this would be possible without the incredible support of the SEEDS scholarship program. SEEDS has been with me every step of my college journey, ensuring I have everything I need each semester to succeed.
Thank you, SEEDS!"
